Project Description

CDI – Towhee Website and Drone Videography

Project Brief: To update the website for Towhee Integra Program, a therapeutic residential program for children and adolescents with learning disabilities. The program is run at a beautiful lake front property in Haliburton, Ontario. It is a great environment for youth who experience social, emotional and behavioural problems to make new friends and experience success.

My Role: This website was created by myself along with the team at Fusion Design Group. My role included, creative direction, lead design, prototyping and drone videography.

Concept: The website acts as an educational tool for both parents and youth who are interested in the program. It is also a great resource for donors to learn more about the program and how their contributions really make a difference in the lives of participants. We wanted the design of the website to fully reflect the environment of the camp. We were fortunate enough to be able to visit the camp over the summer and saw first hand how impactful this program is to the children and adolescents who participate. Working with a colleague we shot all new photography and concurrently I was able to fly, produce, and edit drone footage for promotional videos throughout the website. We wanted everything to feel as authentic as possible so that parents and participants leave the site feeling informed, comfortable and confident in the program.

Result: The website is in the final stages of development and will be launched later this fall.
